I’m very particular when it comes to blow dry bars. Perhaps its because I’ve never really been wowed by any blowouts here in Las Vegas. The few times I visited some blow dry bars here I was always told that my hair was too heavy or too thick for a blow out. Maybe it was an excuse to quickly blow dry my hair and curl with an iron – not the same.
I finally saw and felt the difference at the opening of Drybar located inside the Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood. As soon as I stepped foot inside the 3,000 square foot space (their largest to date), I felt the vibe and energy provided by a live DJ and full bar.
My stylist, Krista K. did a fabulous job with shampooing my hair and giving me the “Dirty Martini” blow out. While sipping my Cosmo, Krista told me I had perfect hair for a blowout. She used the award-winning Triple Sec 3-in-1, I loved it so much, I bought some to take home with me.
I also had the pleasure to meet Drybar founder, Alli Webb whose creativity and vision was evident in every detail of the space. Her background as a professional hair stylist is what sets Drybar apart from the rest. Her vision is to focus on the one thing they do well – blowouts. She is a true inspiration for all females.
I will definitely go back to Drybar to try out the other blowouts! For more information on Drybar follow them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.
Now this is my idea of a girls’ night out! The who’s who of Las Vegas’ beauty and fashion industry, media and socialites were in attendance at the media preview event of the iBlowdry Salon, the latest blowout salon to open its doors offering fabulous blowouts for only $35.
We sipped on bubbly and indulged in delicious appetizers while the iBlowdry team debuted the many different types of blowouts from their signature style blowout, “Dandelion” to the super straight “Tulip” blowout. I especially loved their technique of using pin curls for that extra oomph of volume!
