Any day now when spring decides to make its permanent appearance, we’ll need to adjust our makeup regimen to include sweat-proof applications, lighter moisturizer, higher SPF, etc. One of my favorite fall-to-spring transitions is changing out my regular powder blush for creamy cheek stains like Tarte’s Amazonian white clay infused cheek stain in The Perfect Pink or Benefit’s Poise Tint which can be used on lips as well as cheeks.
Here are some other Spring makeup tips:
- Swap your traditional foundation for a tinted moisturizer with SPF (at least 15). One of my favorites is Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer (SPF 20)
- Bring out the bronzer! I’m all about face bronzer but this is the time of year that I begin using body bronzer. My all time favorite is Laura Geller’s Baked Body Frosting in Honey Glow. This all over bronzer is perfect on shoulders, collarbone and décolleté especially as we begin to sport the sleeveless shirts and strapless dresses. Laura Geller’s Liquid Candlelight is also amazing for a delicate sheen all over.
Living here in Las Vegas, we’ll have about three weeks of spring before the sweltering heats starts so I’ll be blogging more about that! In the meantime, if you have any must-have spring makeup tips, please share!
